Centra-se especificamente na seguran\u00e7a dos sistemas de armazenamento de energia (ESS), incluindo os sistemas de armazenamento de energia em baterias (BESS). A norma estabelece crit\u00e9rios rigorosos e procedimentos de teste para avaliar a seguran\u00e7a, o desempenho e a fiabilidade destes sistemas.<\/p><p>Objectivo dos testes UL 9540A: O principal objetivo dos testes UL 9540A \u00e9 garantir que os sistemas de armazenamento de energia sejam seguros, confi\u00e1veis e capazes de lidar com riscos potenciais. O objectivo destas experi\u00eancias era recolher dados sobre os riscos de inc\u00eandio e deflagra\u00e7\u00e3o associados \u00e0 fuga t\u00e9rmica e \u00e0 sua propaga\u00e7\u00e3o atrav\u00e9s de sistemas de armazenamento de energia (ESS).<\/p><p>A norma de teste UL 9540A foi utilizada para avaliar sistematicamente a fuga e propaga\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica em sistemas de armazenamento de energia a v\u00e1rios n\u00edveis, incluindo c\u00e9lula, m\u00f3dulo, unidade e instala\u00e7\u00e3o. A informa\u00e7\u00e3o obtida a partir destes testes pode ser utilizada na concep\u00e7\u00e3o de sistemas de protec\u00e7\u00e3o contra inc\u00eandios e explos\u00f5es para a localiza\u00e7\u00e3o e instala\u00e7\u00e3o seguras de ESS.<\/p><p>Durante as experi\u00eancias, para al\u00e9m dos instrumentos de medi\u00e7\u00e3o de temperatura, press\u00e3o e g\u00e1s colocados no interior do contentor, foram colocados monitores de g\u00e1s port\u00e1teis dos bombeiros, tanto no interior como no exterior do contentor de armazenagem. Esta coloca\u00e7\u00e3o foi feita para avaliar a sua efic\u00e1cia na detec\u00e7\u00e3o dos subprodutos da fuga t\u00e9rmica e para ajudar os bombeiros nas decis\u00f5es de dimensionamento. \u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Imagem t\u00e9rmica | detectores de fumo e outros detectores el\u00e9ctricos<\/strong><\/p><p>Este tipo de detec\u00e7\u00e3o pode apresentar falhas, tendo sido comprovado, por exemplo, que a detec\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica pode n\u00e3o funcionar de todo em v\u00e1rios aspectos, como determinar a localiza\u00e7\u00e3o do inc\u00eandio ou se este j\u00e1 se encontra em fase de supress\u00e3o. Os detectores SPY permitem uma localiza\u00e7\u00e3o precisa do inc\u00eandio, determinando exactamente onde este se encontra, pois o SPY instalado no foco de inc\u00eandio \u00e9 o que accionar\u00e1 o alarme.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Detec\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica bif\u00e1sica para um \u00fanico sistema<\/span><\/h3><p>O sistema T-REX oferece uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o com dois limiares de temperatura diferentes.<\/p><p><strong>Fase 1 -<\/strong> Activa\u00e7\u00e3o a baixas temperaturas: Os detectores com o limiar de temperatura mais baixo activar\u00e3o o sistema ARGON, o que pode ser considerado como uma supress\u00e3o inicial do inc\u00eandio. Se o inc\u00eandio for extinto com sucesso, os danos s\u00e3o minimizados e os riscos adjacentes s\u00e3o reduzidos.<\/p><p><strong>Fase 2 -<\/strong> Activa\u00e7\u00e3o a temperaturas mais elevadas: Neste caso, a progress\u00e3o do inc\u00eandio \u00e9 verificada atrav\u00e9s do aumento das temperaturas no interior do ESS. O segundo conjunto de detectores ser\u00e1 accionado e um agente extintor diferente, o Tiborex Absolute combinado com Argon, entra em ac\u00e7\u00e3o. Quando as condi\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o adequadas, estes gases e vapores podem inflamar-se simultaneamente, provocando uma combust\u00e3o instant\u00e2nea.<\/p><p>O efeito de flashover \u00e9 caracterizado por uma explos\u00e3o s\u00fabita e intensa de chamas que envolve todo o espa\u00e7o. Leva \u00e0 igni\u00e7\u00e3o de todos os materiais combust\u00edveis dispon\u00edveis, incluindo mobili\u00e1rio, cortinados, alcatifas e outros conte\u00fados dentro da \u00e1rea. O inc\u00eandio passa rapidamente de um inc\u00eandio localizado para um inc\u00eandio totalmente desenvolvido, com as chamas a espalharem-se rapidamente e a gerarem calor extremo, fumo espesso e gases t\u00f3xicos.<\/p><p>V\u00e1rios factores contribuem para a ocorr\u00eancia de flashover, incluindo:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Temperatura:<\/strong> A temperatura no espa\u00e7o fechado atinge um n\u00edvel cr\u00edtico, normalmente em torno de 1.100 a 1.200 graus Fahrenheit (600 a 650 graus Celsius).<\/li><li><strong>Disponibilidade de oxig\u00e9nio:<\/strong> Existe oxig\u00e9nio suficiente para sustentar a combust\u00e3o de todos os materiais inflam\u00e1veis em simult\u00e2neo.<\/li><li><strong>Fluxo de calor:<\/strong> A radia\u00e7\u00e3o de calor do fogo excede a capacidade de arrefecimento das superf\u00edcies circundantes, levando a um r\u00e1pido aumento da temperatura.<\/li><\/ul><p>O Flashover \u00e9 uma situa\u00e7\u00e3o altamente perigosa para os bombeiros e os ocupantes de um edif\u00edcio. Apresenta desafios significativos em termos de r\u00e1pida propaga\u00e7\u00e3o do fogo, calor intenso, visibilidade reduzida devido ao fumo espesso e potencial de colapso estrutural. Est\u00e3o equipados com equipamento de protec\u00e7\u00e3o e t\u00e9cnicas adequadas para navegar e combater inc\u00eandios em condi\u00e7\u00f5es perigosas.<\/li><\/ul><p>Durante estes testes, registou-se um problema significativo com o flashover causado pela abertura das portas. Quando o agente extintor \u00e9 um g\u00e1s, este efeito \u00e9 ainda pior, uma vez que a abertura da porta faz com que o ambiente perca o agente extintor e seja substitu\u00eddo por oxig\u00e9nio. No momento em que as portas s\u00e3o abertas, h\u00e1 um afluxo s\u00fabito de oxig\u00e9nio, que alimenta o fogo e pode provocar um flashover, pondo em risco a vida da pessoa que abre a porta. O g\u00e1s, sendo um agente extintor que n\u00e3o arrefece as superf\u00edcies e o ambiente no interior do SCE, pode reduzir a chama, mas n\u00e3o baixar\u00e1 a temperatura o suficiente para impedir o reacendimento imediato.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Como evitar o FlashOver com o T-REX<\/span><\/h3><p>O sistema T-REX oferece uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o para evitar o flashover. No tanque Tiborex Absolute, existe uma entrada para a mangueira dos bombeiros, que continuar\u00e1 a injectar \u00e1gua sob a forma de neblina na \u00e1rea do inc\u00eandio. \u00c9 importante notar que apenas as v\u00e1lvulas no local do inc\u00eandio detectado se abrir\u00e3o. Ambas as abordagens t\u00eam as suas vantagens e considera\u00e7\u00f5es \u00fanicas.
