Na realidade, qualquer bico de litragem fixa ou seleccion\u00e1vel pode ser sub ou sobre bombeado, dependendo do resultado desejado.<\/p><p>Naturalmente, \u00e9 importante evitar cen\u00e1rios extremos em que a reac\u00e7\u00e3o do bico se torna excessiva ou a press\u00e3o se torna demasiado baixa. No entanto, esta classifica\u00e7\u00e3o de fluxo n\u00e3o \u00e9 um limite estrito; permite um aumento m\u00e1ximo de 10% acima do fluxo nominal \u00e0 press\u00e3o de base do bico, em conformidade com a norma NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 1964.<\/p><p>Por exemplo, um bico de 568 LPM pode fornecer qualquer coisa entre 568 LPM e 625 LPM na sua press\u00e3o de base nominal enquanto ainda est\u00e1 em conformidade com a norma.
