Elle se concentre sp\u00e9cifiquement sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes de stockage d'\u00e9nergie (ESS), y compris les syst\u00e8mes de stockage d'\u00e9nergie par batterie (BESS). La norme \u00e9tablit des crit\u00e8res et des proc\u00e9dures d'essai rigoureux pour \u00e9valuer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, les performances et la fiabilit\u00e9 de ces syst\u00e8mes.<\/p><p>Objectif du test UL 9540A : L'objectif principal des tests UL 9540A est de garantir que les syst\u00e8mes de stockage d'\u00e9nergie sont s\u00fbrs, fiables et capables de g\u00e9rer les risques potentiels. L'objectif de ces exp\u00e9riences \u00e9tait de recueillir des donn\u00e9es sur les risques d'incendie et de d\u00e9flagration associ\u00e9s \u00e0 l'emballement thermique et \u00e0 sa propagation dans les syst\u00e8mes de stockage d'\u00e9nergie (ESS).<\/p><p>La norme d'essai UL 9540A a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e pour \u00e9valuer syst\u00e9matiquement l'emballement et la propagation thermique dans les syst\u00e8mes de stockage d'\u00e9nergie \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents niveaux, notamment la cellule, le module, l'unit\u00e9 et l'installation. Les informations obtenues gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces essais peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es pour concevoir des syst\u00e8mes de protection contre les incendies et les explosions afin d'assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l'emplacement et de l'installation des syst\u00e8mes de stockage d'\u00e9nergie.<\/p><p>Au cours des exp\u00e9riences, outre les instruments de mesure de la temp\u00e9rature, de la pression et des gaz plac\u00e9s \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur du conteneur, des moniteurs de gaz portables des services d'incendie ont \u00e9t\u00e9 plac\u00e9s \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur et \u00e0 l'ext\u00e9rieur du conteneur de stockage. Les d\u00e9tecteurs SPY permettent une localisation pr\u00e9cise de l'incendie, en d\u00e9terminant exactement o\u00f9 il se trouve, car c'est le SPY install\u00e9 \u00e0 la source de l'incendie qui d\u00e9clenchera l'alarme.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #333333;\">D\u00e9tection thermique biphas\u00e9e pour un syst\u00e8me unique<\/span><\/h3><p>Le syst\u00e8me T-REX offre une solution avec deux seuils de temp\u00e9rature diff\u00e9rents.<\/p><p><strong>Phase 1 -<\/strong> Activation \u00e0 basse temp\u00e9rature : Les d\u00e9tecteurs dont le seuil de temp\u00e9rature est le plus bas activent le syst\u00e8me ARGON, ce qui peut \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme une premi\u00e8re extinction de l'incendie. Si l'incendie est \u00e9teint avec succ\u00e8s, les dommages sont minimis\u00e9s et les risques adjacents sont r\u00e9duits.<\/p><p><strong>Phase 2 -<\/strong> Activation \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es : Dans ce cas, la progression du feu est v\u00e9rifi\u00e9e par l'augmentation des temp\u00e9ratures \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur de l'ESS. La deuxi\u00e8me s\u00e9rie de d\u00e9tecteurs se d\u00e9clenche et un autre agent d'extinction, le Tiborex Absolute combin\u00e9 \u00e0 de l'argon, entre en action. Il s'agit d'un \u00e9v\u00e9nement extr\u00eamement dangereux et potentiellement mortel qui peut entra\u00eener une escalade significative de l'incendie.<\/p><p>Au cours des premi\u00e8res phases d'un incendie, la chaleur d\u00e9gag\u00e9e par les mat\u00e9riaux en combustion augmente progressivement la temp\u00e9rature de l'environnement. \u00c0 mesure que la temp\u00e9rature augmente, les objets pr\u00e9sents dans l'espace commencent \u00e0 atteindre leur point d'ignition et des gaz et des vapeurs inflammables sont lib\u00e9r\u00e9s. Lorsque les conditions sont r\u00e9unies, ces gaz et ces vapeurs peuvent s'enflammer simultan\u00e9ment, provoquant un embrasement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/p><p>L'embrasement se caract\u00e9rise par une explosion soudaine et intense de flammes qui engloutit tout l'espace. Il conduit \u00e0 l'inflammation de tous les mat\u00e9riaux combustibles disponibles, y compris les meubles, les rideaux, les tapis et les autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments contenus dans la zone. L'incendie passe rapidement d'un feu localis\u00e9 \u00e0 un feu pleinement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9, les flammes se propageant rapidement et g\u00e9n\u00e9rant une chaleur extr\u00eame, une fum\u00e9e \u00e9paisse et des gaz toxiques.<\/p><p>Plusieurs facteurs contribuent \u00e0 l'apparition d'un embrasement g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9 :<\/p><ul><li><strong>Temp\u00e9rature :<\/strong> La temp\u00e9rature dans l'espace clos atteint un niveau critique, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement autour de 1 100 \u00e0 1 200 degr\u00e9s Fahrenheit (600 \u00e0 650 degr\u00e9s Celsius).<\/li><li><strong>Disponibilit\u00e9 de l'oxyg\u00e8ne :<\/strong> Il y a suffisamment d'oxyg\u00e8ne pour assurer la combustion simultan\u00e9e de toutes les mati\u00e8res inflammables.<\/li><li><strong>Flux de chaleur :<\/strong> Le rayonnement thermique de l'incendie d\u00e9passe la capacit\u00e9 de refroidissement des surfaces environnantes, ce qui entra\u00eene une augmentation rapide de la temp\u00e9rature.<\/li><\/ul><p>L'embrasement est une situation extr\u00eamement dangereuse pour les pompiers et les occupants d'un b\u00e2timent. Les temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es et les gaz toxiques produits lors d'un embrasement g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9 rendent difficile l'\u00e9vacuation des occupants et l'acc\u00e8s des pompiers \u00e0 la zone pour effectuer des op\u00e9rations de sauvetage.<\/p><p>Pour att\u00e9nuer le risque d'embrasement g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9, des mesures pr\u00e9ventives et des strat\u00e9gies de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 incendie doivent \u00eatre mises en \u0153uvre, notamment :<\/p><ul><li><strong>D\u00e9tection efficace des incendies :<\/strong> La d\u00e9tection pr\u00e9coce des incendies au moyen de d\u00e9tecteurs de fum\u00e9e, de d\u00e9tecteurs de chaleur et de syst\u00e8mes d'alarme incendie automatiques permet de r\u00e9agir et d'intervenir rapidement avant qu'un embrasement ne se produise.<\/li><li><strong>Ventilation ad\u00e9quate :<\/strong> Une bonne ventilation des b\u00e2timents permet d'\u00e9vacuer la chaleur, la fum\u00e9e et les gaz toxiques, r\u00e9duisant ainsi la probabilit\u00e9 d'un embrasement. Elle permet \u00e0 l'air frais d'entrer et aux gaz chauds de s'\u00e9chapper, limitant ainsi l'accumulation de gaz inflammables et r\u00e9duisant les risques d'inflammation simultan\u00e9e.<\/li><li><strong>Syst\u00e8mes d'extinction d'incendie :<\/strong> L'installation de syst\u00e8mes d'arrosage automatique, d'extincteurs et d'autres syst\u00e8mes d'extinction des incendies permet de contr\u00f4ler et d'\u00e9teindre les incendies avant qu'ils n'atteignent le stade de l'embrasement g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9.<\/li><li><strong>Formation des pompiers :<\/strong> Les pompiers suivent une formation rigoureuse pour comprendre le comportement des incendies, y compris l'embrasement. Ils sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s d'un mat\u00e9riel de protection et de techniques appropri\u00e9es pour naviguer et combattre les incendies dans des conditions dangereuses.<\/li><\/ul><p>Au cours de ces essais, on a constat\u00e9 un probl\u00e8me important d'embrasement provoqu\u00e9 par l'ouverture des portes. Lorsque l'agent extincteur est un gaz, cet effet est encore plus grave, car l'ouverture de la porte entra\u00eene la perte de l'agent extincteur et son remplacement par de l'oxyg\u00e8ne. Au moment o\u00f9 les portes sont ouvertes, il y a un afflux soudain d'oxyg\u00e8ne, qui alimente le feu et peut conduire \u00e0 un embrasement, mettant en danger la vie de la personne qui ouvre la porte. Le gaz \u00e9tant un agent d'extinction qui ne refroidit pas les surfaces et l'environnement \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur de l'ESS, il peut r\u00e9duire la flamme mais n'abaissera pas suffisamment la temp\u00e9rature pour emp\u00eacher un rallumage imm\u00e9diat.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Comment \u00e9viter le FlashOver avec le T-REX<\/span><\/h3><p>Le syst\u00e8me T-REX offre une solution pour pr\u00e9venir l'embrasement. Dans le r\u00e9servoir Tiborex Absolute, il y a une entr\u00e9e pour le tuyau des pompiers, qui continuera \u00e0 injecter de l'eau sous forme de brouillard dans la zone d'incendie. Il est important de noter que seules les vannes situ\u00e9es \u00e0 l'endroit o\u00f9 l'incendie a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9 s'ouvrent. Les deux approches ont leurs propres avantages et consid\u00e9rations. Comparons les deux dans le contexte des syst\u00e8mes de stockage d'\u00e9nergie.<\/p><p><strong>M\u00e9canisme de suppression :<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Tiborex Absolute Mist :<\/strong> \u00a0Les syst\u00e8mes de pulv\u00e9risation fine utilisent de fines gouttelettes de liquide pour \u00e9teindre les incendies. Ils sont tr\u00e8s efficaces pour \u00e9teindre les incendies dans les espaces clos et sont couramment utilis\u00e9s dans les zones o\u00f9 se trouvent des \u00e9quipements sensibles et o\u00f9 les dommages caus\u00e9s par l'eau doivent \u00eatre r\u00e9duits au minimum.<\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Compatibilit\u00e9 de l'\u00e9quipement :<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li>Fine Spray mist : les syst\u00e8mes de brumisation requi\u00e8rent un examen attentif de l'\u00e9quipement \u00e9lectrique et des dommages potentiels caus\u00e9s par l'eau.
